Carbon Green BioEnergy
The Carbon Green team led the group that successfully revitalized an idled, bankrupt ethanol plant in Lake Odessa, MI., making it one of the most efficient operating facilities in the country. In addition to profitably producing ethanol and DDGs, we are constantly exploring new productivity enhancements and evaluating exciting incremental co-product extensions.
Carbon Green moved quickly to capitalize on an opportunity--where others only saw failure and risk. Remarkably, in the middle of the worst recession in decades, we completed an entire turnaround from initial project analysis to full operational status as co-owners in six short months. Carbon Green performed market due diligence, identified and assembled experienced partners, evaluated the technical and operational integrity, secured funding, strengthened the management team, and performed additional key responsibilities.
We continue to play an active role in helping Carbon Green BioEnergy maximize the value of this facility by positioning it as a strategic operational hub. As part of our ongoing stewardship, we are constantly striving to increase the plant's efficacy while integrating processes that decrease the environmental impact, making the Carbon Green BioEnergy facility a truly green biorefinery.
