History

Carbon Green was formed in 2006 to support the renewable energy industry, specifically the biofuels and biomass sectors. 

We joined the Chicago Climate Exchange and Chicago Climate Futures exchange in anticipation of developing protocols to create carbon credits for our many bioenergy clients.  In 2008 we became the first firm to successfully monetize carbon credits for a biofuels producer, Corn Plus located in Winnebago, Minnesota. Our market leading knowledge of the carbon credit markets, RINs and biofuels industry drove us to explore additional opportunities in energy efficient technologies.

Our expertise and focus has evolved along with the market.  Today we are a professional services firm providing comprehensive solutions to companies in the bioenergy industry.  The main areas of our concentration are ethanol and biomass-to-energy.  Our success is largely due to the quality of our team and our disciplined operating philosophy of building strategic long-term partnerships.  To learn more please contact us.
